The Komptech Ontario team has been at the forefront of North American waste technology since the early 2000s. The company was founded by waste industry professionals unsatisfied with North America’s waste equipment offerings. The market was dominated by machines with high operating costs and inconsistent capabilities that had not experienced innovation for decades. Meanwhile, the robust machines powering European facilities were leading the world with technological advancements that were reducing costs and increasing throughput.

Seeing that, Komptech Ontario was formed. Since its inception, Komptech Ontario has been outfitting waste operations across Canada with the best waste processing technology available. The first star screen in North America was installed in early 2006 and since the popularity of Komptech equipment has been unprecedented.
